Sean Ham, DDS – 5-Star Dentist in Tucson, AZ
Dr. Sean Ham is a Tucson native. He attended Ironwood Ridge High School and did his undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona. At the UofA, Dr. Ham completed his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and graduated Magna Cum Laude. While in undergrad, Dr. Ham also played for the UofA’s Club Ultimate Frisbee team, Sunburn.
Upon graduation he was accepted to the prestigious 3-year program at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. Dr. Ham graduated with honors and was awarded the Henry Sutro Award for Clinical Excellence. Both during and after dental school, Dr. Ham competed in the American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL) as a professional frisbee player. He played for the San Jose Spiders and San Diego Growlers and in 2015 won the National Championship.
Dr. Ham attended dental school on a Health Services Collegiate Program Scholarship for the U.S. Navy and upon graduation commissioned as a United States Naval Dental Officer. He did additional training in the Navy’s “credentialing program” while serving at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, addressing the dental needs of marine recruits in Bootcamp. Dr. Ham finished out his time in the Navy as the Dental Department Head Afloat USS Tripoli LHA 7, where he served as the ship’s dentist for a nearly 1200-person crew.
Sean is married to his high school sweetheart, Kirsten, and has two beautiful daughters, London and Madeline. They enjoy hiking together and love exploring the various mountain ranges in Tucson. Dr. Ley joins us from Denver CO where he founded Mile High Dentistry and was a trusted name and voice among the dental community for nearly 20 year as evidenced by being nominated for four consecutive years into the 5280 magazine Top Dentists issue. He is passionate about serving people both professionally and personally. As a second generation dentist, he always admired the way his father was able to impact the lives of so many people in a positive way. Dr. Ley received his BS degree in biology from Colorado State University and earned his doctorate degree in dentistry from Creighton University in Nebraska. He is a strong advocate in pursuing advanced education and training to keep up with the most recent technology, techniques and treatment options for his patient by attending programs such as the prestigious KOIS Center in Seattle, DSD ( digital Smile Design ), Implant Pathways to stay up on the latest trends in implant dentistry, SPEAR education in Scottsdale AZ and active with the AACA ( american academy of clear aligner ) for the latest in Invisalign technology. This commitment to lifelong education means he is constantly evaluating emerging dental trends and technologies in order to provide his patients with the best results and predictability , with a high emphasis on comfort.

Julie was born and raised in Tucson and is a fifth generation Arizonan. She started as a Dental Assistant in 1998 and spent 20 years chairside. In 2019 Julie had the opportunity to move to the front office where she has grown in her knowledge of insurance and business management. When not at the dental office she enjoys spending time and going on adventures with her husband, two children, and dog.

Erica was born and raised in Tucson. She has been married for 19 years and has four kids, two boys and two girls.
Erica enjoys spending time with my family, camping, and being outdoors. Crafting is her therapy.
She has been in the dental field nine years, starting as a back office Dental Assistant in Pediatrics.

Skylar was born and raised in Tucson and definitely feels the desert is home for her.
She has been a Dental Hygienist since 2019 and couldn’t imagine not working with teeth, she has such a passion for what she does!
Skylar has 4 fur babies that she loves to spend time at home with. When she is not cleaning teeth, she’s usually at home working on some kind of home improvement, doing a craft or fun project or out on a drive somewhere, enjoying our beautiful Arizona!

Janet graduated from the University of Missouri Dental School in Kansas City, Missouri. She has been practicing in this location for 26 years. Janet was awarded Dental Hygienist of the Year in 2002 given by the Arizona Dental Association. “I have loved dental hygiene since the first day on the clinic floor; it has never been work. My patients are fabulous!”

Sally brings 20+ years of dental experience to Orange Grove Dental, having had the opportunity to work with and learn from the best of the best in the Tucson community. She can be found most often providing friendly patient care while assisting the doctor, but also jumps in where needed to facilitate smooth operations throughout the office. Outside of work she loves spending time with family and friends, getting outside to enjoy nature, volunteering, and sleuthing out family histories online.

Ramona grew up in Compton, California. She received her Dental Assistant Certificate in 1982 from Cerritos College. Ramona moved to Tucson in 1993 with her husband Armondo and their two daughters Ramona Alicia and Brenda. Family and attending church are very important to her. “I feel it is very important to make sure everyone feels comfortable when they enter our dental office.” Ramona is also bilingual in Spanish.
